If you're comparing OnlyFans agencies, the percentage is usually the first thing you ask about. It matters, but on its own it tells you surprisingly little. We've been an OnlyFans agency since 2021, so here's how commission really works, what it should pay for, and how to tell a fair deal from a bad one.
How OnlyFans agencies get paid
A real OnlyFans agency doesn't charge you fees. It earns a share of what your page earns. That means the agency only makes money when you make money, so both of you want the same thing: a page that grows.
Walk away if: an agency asks you to pay anything upfront. A signup fee, a "setup cost", a course to buy. Good agencies are paid from results, never before them.
First, OnlyFans takes its 20%
Before any agency is involved, OnlyFans keeps 20% of everything a creator earns. That's the same for every creator. The agency's share then comes out of what's left.
So ask this directly: is the agency's percentage taken from the full amount, or from what's left after OnlyFans' cut? Two agencies quoting the same number can mean very different amounts in your pocket.
What the share should pay for
A percentage is only cheap or expensive compared to what you get for it. A proper agency share covers real work, every day, so you don't have to do it:
- Promotion on social media, so new fans keep finding your page.
- Chatting with fans, which is where a large part of OnlyFans income is made.
- A content plan, so you always know what to film and when.
- Strategy and pricing for subscriptions and paid messages.

If an agency's list is short or vague, the percentage is paying for very little.
Cheap isn't always a good deal
A low percentage for an agency that barely promotes you can leave you earning less than a higher percentage for one that grows your page properly. And a high percentage is no guarantee of quality either. The only question that matters: after their share, will you earn more than you would alone? A good agency will happily talk you through that. Red flags in any agency deal
Walk away if: they want money upfront, they won't put the terms in writing, the contract locks you in for years with big exit penalties, they want the account in their name instead of yours, or they dodge the question when you ask what their share actually covers.
What a fair agreement looks like
Look for: nothing to pay upfront, the split written down clearly before you start, a clear list of what the agency does, your account staying yours, your content limits agreed in writing, and a sensible notice period if you ever want to leave.
